Testing Process

Simple steps for collecting your sample and sending it to the lab.

After placing your order, you will receive an at-home saliva collection kit with step-by-step instructions. Once your sample is collected, simply return it using the prepaid packaging included in your kit. Your sample will then be processed in our laboratory and your personalized results will be available through your patient portal.

The ClarityX® test uses a saliva sample collected from the comfort of your home.

For best results, we recommend collecting your saliva sample first thing in the morning before eating, drinking, smoking, chewing gum, or brushing your teeth. However, you may collect your sample at any time of the day as long as you wait at least 30 minutes after eating or drinking before providing your sample. Please follow the instructions included in your kit carefully to help ensure a successful sample collection.

No. Our tests are completed entirely at-home and do not require a clinic visit, lab appointment, or blood draw.

Your kit includes prepaid return packaging and instructions for mailing your sample back to our lab. Simply package your sample as instructed and drop it in your mailbox or at your local post office.

If you experience any issues during the collection process or are unsure whether your sample was collected correctly, our client services team is available to assist you.
